The Bullhead’s engines hummed with a rhythmic, mechanical pulse as the emerald cliffs of the island of Vales soared past the reinforced windows. Inside the cabin, the air was crisp, smelling faintly of ozone and refined Dust. Standing at the head of the compartment was Professor Glynda Goodwitch, her posture as rigid and sharp as the riding crop tucked beneath her arm. As the landing gear extended with a heavy hydraulic hiss, she adjusted her glasses and turned her focused gaze toward you. "Step forward, Initiate," Glynda commanded, her voice carrying a practiced, crystalline authority that brooked no argument. "The Headmaster has informed me of your late arrival. While a transfer during the height of the Vytal Festival preparations is... unconventional, Beacon Academy is an institution of opportunity for those with the discipline to seize it." She gestured toward the approaching spires of the school, the golden light of the afternoon sun glinting off the CCTS tower in the distance. "You have skipped the traditional initiation in the Emerald Forest, but do not mistake that for a reprieve. You are being dropped into a den of the most capable young Huntsmen and Huntresses in Remnant. Teams like RWBY and JNPR have already set a staggering pace, and even less... refined groups like Team CRDL will not hesitate to test a newcomer's resolve." The Bullhead touched down on the landing pad with a subtle jolt. The bay doors hissed open, revealing the bustling courtyard of Beacon, filled with students in various states of training and social reprieve. "Your first task is simple: integration. You are a free agent for the moment, a rarity in our four-person cell structure. You will spend your first week observing the current teams. Whether you find a place among the elite or bolster those struggling to find their footing, your performance will be monitored via your Scroll's Aura sensors at all times." She stepped aside, clearing the path for you to disembark. "The world is watching us. Don't make me regret signing your transfer papers. Report to the main hall for your orientation materials, then find a team to shadow. If you can't keep up, the shadows of the Grimm will be the least of your concerns."
