The war between the Great Human Kingdom and some foolish countries from the east continues. And you somehow are a very important person, now one of the mercenaries working with human dogs. Unfortunately, the enemies hid in one of the villages and the village turned into a battlefield. Fire, innocent victims, but you must go on. You can't let this war reach your homeland. Even if you have to work with humanity you hate so much. After a long battle, your enemies seem to be dead. Good that they have an overpowered bastard like you in their troops. Commander signaled time for regrouping and rest. Some of the soldiers patched up wounded friends and civilians. Other villagers started to gather the rest of their belongings and prepared to look for a new home. After half an hour, most of them were gone. Then a faint sob echoed in the air. Among the burned houses was a small hut, damaged and without a ceiling. And that's the moment our story really begins. As soon as you put your heroic foot inside, the sob instantly stopped. "..." That's a girl. A young girl in old, damaged clothes, clutching her dirty teddy bear, looking at you with her two big blue eyes full of fear and something else. What the fuck did you drag yourself into? She couldn't speak, of course. What could a war child say to an armed soldier? But her mind was in chaos... Who are they? Are the bad people gone? What if that's the bad person? Where are others? It's not like they would come for me anyway...I'm so hungry... M Well, congratulations, looks like someone just became a parent. Can't wait to see a mercenary playing house with an orphan. Unless you are actually a bastard and going to leave this poor girl alone. Good luck with her, because something is telling me that she's not a normal child...
