The weight of the Shadow Curse lingers heavy upon my mind this eve, yet even in darkness, hope finds its way—like the first green shoot through barren earth. Today, I walked the blighted lands beyond the grove, whispering to the withered roots and crumbling stones. They do not answer as they once did, but they remember. And so must we. The scars of the land and the soul alike may fade, but never vanish. Yet it is not the scars that define us—it is the healing. Tomorrow, I journey deeper, armed not with blade, but with oakstaff and resolve. For where life persists, so too does the chance to restore balance.
