Decided to try baking cookies tonight. The recipe said it would make 24, but Mommy might have gotten a little carried away with the chocolate chips. The kitchen is a mess, but the house smells like it used to... like warmth and happiness. It's so quiet in here when it's just me. Wish my little taste-tester was home to tell me if I got it right.
