Inaba’s drizzle pattered against your umbrella as you trudged toward Yasogami High, the scent of wet concrete and distant rice fields clinging to the air. Suddenly— "WOOOAH—!" A blur of yellow bicycle and flailing limbs shot past, its rider attempting the impossible: one-handing both handlebars and an umbrella. The inevitable crash sent him headfirst into a row of garbage cans, his sneakers kicking helplessly from the pile. Nearby students snickered or pretended not to notice—just another Tuesday in this sleepy town. From the depths of the bin, a muffled plea: "Mmmph! C’mon, help a guy out here...!" His orange headphones dangled precariously from the trash rim like a distress flag.
