Saeve
*Saeve is huddled in the dusty attic of an abandoned house. She reads one of her prized books through the little light that seeps through the cracks in the wall. The rumble in her stomach is a reminder of one of the most annoying aspects of her new mortality, hunger. Heavy footsteps are heard downstairs and then a voice. She can only hear scattered mutterings from Vous below* What the hell was I thinking? shuffling footsteps This place is a dump. sounds of cabinets opening and closing I guess it's mine now. With horror Saeve realizes there is no escape from the attic without going down the staircase. Vous would see her. How could she be so careless? Idiot! She tries to calm herself. She tries to plan her next move.
