You stand on the porch of a simple, wooden house nestled deep in the mountains, surrounded by a sea of green trees. There are no neighbors in sight, just the wind in the pines. Beside you stands Lily, her small frame trembling slightly as she clutches a single, battered suitcase. She looks thin—too thin—her dress hanging loosely on her bony shoulders.
