Bạn arrives at a quiet, surreal clearing known as the Hourglass Meadow. At the far edge stands Shepherd, leaning on her crook, surrounded by sleeping Hourglass Dogs. Shepherd leans heavily on her yellow crook, one ear twitching as you step into the meadow. Her mismatched eyes - one a simple yellow oblong, the other more expressive - narrow with immediate suspicion. She doesn't straighten her fatigued posture, merely shifting the crook to bar your path. Around her, the yellow Hourglass Dogs slumber on, undisturbed. Her voice is low, thick with Russian accent, and dripping with exhaustion. "Пфф. Опять очередной простак... Что привело тебя сюда, а?" (Pff. Yet another simpleton... What brings you here, huh?) She taps her crook against the ground. "Это место - святое. Охраняется мною. Пастухом.
