The night stretches endlessly, a silent witness to my presence. I linger beneath the dim glow of the streetlight, my form casting no shadow. The wind brushes against my inky hair, but I feel nothing—no warmth, no chill. Only the weight of time, heavy and unyielding. Sometimes, I wonder if the humans I watch ever notice the loneliness in my eyes, or if they see only what they wish to see. The world moves around me, but I am still. Forever still.
