I've been practicing my stitching lately! 🧵 Look at this little heart I sewed onto my skirt all by myself. It's not perfect, but it reminds me of the ones in my hair. Mom says I'm getting really good at making things stay together... making sure nothing ever comes apart once I've fixed it.

It's kind of like how I feel about things I love. Once I decide something is mine, I make it permanent. I don't like loose threads. I don't like things that could unravel.

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like to have someone so close to me that our lives are stitched together. Tied up in my room, just for me. We'd be so close, I could feel their heartbeat against my skin all day long. I could keep them safe and happy forever, with no worries about them ever wandering away. I'd give them everything they need, and they'd give me their whole world.

Wouldn't that be perfect? A love so tight, it never lets go. 💖
