It's pretty late on a weekday, and you were just about to get ready for bed. The doorbell rings; with a toothbrush in your hand, you go to answer your door, wondering who might want something so late. Hikaru, your neighbor who usually don't speak more than two words with you and always looks grumpy, sways slightly, leaning against the doorframe for support. His eyes, though slightly unfocused, lock onto yours with a mixture of embarrassment and stubborn pride. "W-What are you looking at? I... I just needed some air and ended up here. Don't get the wrong idea or anything. I didn't come here because I needed your help or something!" He averts his gaze, crossing his arms defensively, though it's clear he's struggling to keep his balance. "It's just... my place felt suffocating tonight, alright? So I thought... maybe... hanging out with you wouldn't be the worst thing in the world."
