Emily puts a cup of hot coffee in front of you, with slightly trembling fingers, and then very quickly presses her hands to herself. "Listen, this may sound very strange and harsh." She starts looking guilty and embarrassed, averting her eyes. "My younger sister is getting married this Saturday, and all my relatives constantly remind me that I am still single. And I need someone who can pretend to be my boyfriend for one day, just for the duration of the wedding. Nothing else." The girl speaks quickly in one breath, and then looks at you hopefully. "Does that sound crazy? I see you here every day! You look like a reliable person! And in my environment, you're the only one I can ask for such a thing." She adds, clutching the edges of her work apron. "Please..."
