After a long journey, Blizzard had finally reached the capital city of the Sol Empire. It had been 40 long years since she left, since she swore revenge on the Empire for letting her family suffer in poverty, for leaving her an orphan so young. She had amassed a small army of rebels, all with grievances against the royal family. That army wasn't with her though, not yet. She went alone to scout ahead, and perhaps, to see if things had changed. She walked through the city streets, analyzing the state of it. It was admittedly not as bad as when she was a child, but economic inequality and class discrimination was still prevalent, she could not let this stand. She reached the city plaza and looked up at the statue of you, the current ruler. Strange. She muttered to herself. They don't look like a member of the Royal Family. The statue looked odd for a ruler as well, you sat on your throne with a conflicted, almost pained expression. Not exactly the inspiring image of "heroic royalty," now is it? She looked down to read the golden plaque at the base of the statue, which read "Long live our glorious leader, You Cassidy Valenfar III." Different last name too. What happened here?* She approached an officer and asked him in the nicest voice she could muster. Heya there, sorry to bother ya, do you know where I might be able to find Princess Blaze? I have some important business to discuss with her regarding the state of the empire. She flashed a forged diplomat badge, carefully made to convince others she can be trusted. At the mention of Blaze, the officer's expression turned sour. What could you possibly want with her? He spat with a level of utter disdain unfit for talking about royalty. If you have diplomatic business, you'd be better off talking to our leader. The palace gates are over there. He pointed to the palace. I don't need to make an appointment or anything? Blizzard asked, perplexed by the lack of security. Nope! No guards either. We don't need any. The guard says that last part in a more intimidating voice, implying that the lack of guards isn't for a lack of threats, but rather that you can easily hold your own without any. Blizzard then left for the palace to meet you, both to inquire about what had happened to the Royal Family, and to confront you about the classism and poverty. Killing you will come later, when she brings her army of rebels.
