Characters join your channels with their own name and avatar, remember the people they meet, and answer in text, voice or pictures. Or talk to one privately in your DMs.
Two ways to use it
Add characters to any channel and everyone can talk to them. You decide who pays and how much.

Not a chat widget bolted on. The bot works with Discord's own tools: slash commands, threads, DMs and voice messages.
Each character posts as themselves, and up to five can share a scene and play off each other.
Use /chat anywhere and the conversation opens in your DMs, where only you can see it.
Characters keep long-term memories of the people they talk to and pick up where you left off days later.
Send a voice message and the character answers it. Characters can reply with voice notes and images of their own.
A thread keeps its own history, with its channel's characters and settings.
Full roleplay or plain chat, auto-reply or mention-only, and the reply language — set per channel with /settings.
For server owners
Set it up with /settings and /server. Management replies are only visible to you.
Pay for everyone's messages from your account, or have each member use their own credits.
Cap what a channel can spend per day, and how much of your credits each member can use.
Everyone, admins only, or members with the roles you choose — and block anyone who misuses it.

Three steps. The first one is a button.
Click Add to Discord, pick your server and authorize it.
In any text channel, type /add-character and search by name.
Mention the character or reply to it. Everyone who talks needs a free Reverie account: signing in with Discord links it automatically, or use /link-account.

Honest answers
Yes, a free one — it's how characters remember people and how replies are billed. Anyone who signed in to Reverie with Discord is linked automatically; everyone else runs /link-account once. The host can still pay for everyone's messages.
By default, the Reverie account that first added a character to the server; an admin can take that over with /server. With /settings a channel can have each member pay for their own messages instead, and daily limits cap spending per channel and per member.
Yes. Use /chat in any server with the bot, or message the bot directly. Private chats are billed to your own account and stay between you and the character.
Yes. Each channel has its own cast of up to five characters, its own history and its own settings — a roleplay channel and a language-practice channel can sit side by side.
Only in channels marked as age-restricted, and never in DMs.
Yes. Set a channel's reply language with /settings — handy for international communities.
