Invite the Bot
Head to the Integrations page and click "Add Bot to Server." Pick your Discord server and authorize — that's it.

Add a Character
In any text channel, type /add-character and search by name. The character appears with their avatar, ready to chat. Up to 5 per channel.

Start Talking
Mention the bot and say something to the character. They respond in-channel for everyone to see. Link your account with /link-account to sync credits.

01Do server members need a Reverie account?+
No. Anyone in your Discord server can chat with characters by just typing in the channel. A Reverie account is only needed to sync credits and conversation history with Reverie.
02Can I use different characters in different channels?+
Yes. Assign up to 5 characters per channel. You can set up a roleplay channel with one character and a casual chat channel with another — each channel is independent.
03How do slash commands work?+
Type / in any channel and Discord shows all available commands with autocomplete. Pick a command, fill in the options, and hit enter. Responses are ephemeral — only you see them.
04Does it cost credits to chat on Discord?+
Yes, conversations on Discord use credits just like on Reverie. Link your account with /link-account to use your existing balance.
05Can characters respond in different languages?+
Yes. Use /settings to set the language per channel. Great for international communities or language learning servers.
