Choose Your Model
Reverie offers models from several providers, from a free model to premium ones, and you can switch whenever a scene calls for it. Zeta runs its own models, with koji and luca charged per turn in pieces.
Bring Your Characters With You

Inspect the extracted identity, description, scenarios, greetings, examples, instructions, lore, and artwork before saving.

The imported character enters your private library. Nothing becomes public until you explicitly publish it.

Use debug chat to check voice, first response, formatting, memory behavior, and model compatibility, then refine the draft.

Can I import a character from Character.AI or Janitor.AI?
The importer skill can reconstruct a character from an export, copied description, screenshots, or a plain-language explanation. Review the result because those platforms do not expose every internal field in a portable card format.
Does character import include chat history?
Character definition and chat history are separate imports. Character cards create a fresh draft. SillyTavern-compatible JSONL, Character.AI, RisuAI, ChatGPT, Claude, generic JSON, text, and Markdown transcripts can be imported into an empty chat through the chat history importer.
Will my imported character be public?
No. Imports are saved as private drafts. You can test, edit, keep private, or submit for publication when ready.
Can creators bulk import a large library?
Yes. Creators moving ten or more characters can contact support@reverie.im for a bulk-import workflow and review the resulting drafts before publication.
