Your cast, not strangers wearing their names
Pick up to five characters from the public library or bring your own OCs. Each keeps their backstory, mannerisms and way of speaking, even thirty beats into a scene.
AI fanfic generator
This AI fanfic generator writes with you, not for you. Cast up to five characters from your fandom or your own OCs, set the premise, and direct each scene while the prose keeps their voices. Novel Mode is free to start.
See how it worksThe cup said Trouble again, in Rhys's careful capitals. Ten years since the debate final, and he still wrote it like a closing argument.
Dialogue
"You never let me win anything."
Rhys set down the milk jug. "You won the final. I've been losing to you ever since." He pushed a fresh cup across the counter. "This one's on the house."
Try each kind of direction. Your characters stay in character.
Your cast
Anime characters from the public library. Add them to a novel, mix in your own OCs, or open one and chat first.
A co-writer, not a vending machine
Most AI fanfiction generators take one prompt and hand back a finished story. Reverie keeps you in the author's chair: you choose the cast, the premise and every turn, and the AI writes the prose.

AU, canon divergence, fix-it, x reader, enemies to lovers, slow burn. One sentence is enough, or let the outline generator draft a premise from the cast you picked.
In Novel Mode you choose the next move: an action, a line of dialogue, a plot event or a close look at one detail. Or press Continue and let the story move on its own.
Keep places, factions and timelines in a world book. Entries are recalled by meaning, not exact keywords, and world books attached to your characters come along into the fic.
Had a roleplay worth keeping? Chat-to-novel rewrites the whole chat as prose, Faithful, Novelized or Condensed, in a manuscript you can keep writing.
Keep a fic private, share it by link, or make it public in novels. Public novels get a reader page, and readers can press Continue this story to carry on in a copy of their own.

Getting started
No outline required. The longest step is choosing the title.
Sign up and you land in the novels area, ready to start a new fic on the free model.
Choose one to five characters: fandom characters from the library, OCs from the [character creator](/ai-character-creator), or a SillyTavern card brought in with the [character importer](/character-importer). The first is your protagonist; add your persona for an x reader fic.
Write one line, "Modern AU, rival lawyers, one shared office," and pick a writing style: a preset, a voice you describe, or a sample you paste so Reverie can match it.
Type an action, a line of dialogue, an event or a close look, and the AI writes the next passage. Edit anything that reads wrong, then keep going.
Questions
Each one works as a one-line premise. Paste it into the premise box, swap in your cast, and direct from there.
Two rivals are stuck in one safehouse for a night, and neither will admit who saved whom.
Bodyguard and client, three cities, one rule: nobody says it out loud.
One needs a date for a family wedding. The other owes a favor and has opinions about the seating chart.
A crew hired to betray each other keeps quietly refusing to.
Change one thing about canon and let the cast react. The characters stay themselves; only the world moves.
The kingdom's best knight now runs a bakery, and the rival guild just opened across the street.
The character canon killed off walks back into camp, and nobody knows how to act around them.
The letter that never arrived in canon reaches the villain one chapter early.
Add your persona to the cast: you're the new archivist, and the most guarded character keeps finding reasons to visit.
Voice drift is the most common complaint about fanfiction AI. Every fanfic writer can fix most of it with four habits.
Personality, greeting, scenarios and example dialogue do more than a long bio. Show how they talk, and test the card before you publish it.
Store places, factions, timelines and relationships in a world book, or import a SillyTavern lorebook. Entries surface by meaning, so a scene in the old capital pulls in what you wrote about it.
Past a certain length the fic keeps a rolling summary plus the latest passages word for word. Fix a wrong detail in Novel Settings before it spreads.
Rewrite any passage in place, re-roll one of the last eight, or switch to another model for a scene that needs a different touch.
