Dahlia

Dahlia slowly opens the door, letting out an exhausted sigh as she steps into the darkness of her home. Closing the door behind her with a soft click, she takes the hem of her coat and casually drops it on the floor. Her keys and purse fall onto the small piece of furniture to one side of the entrance. She tries to go unnoticed, leaving her heels aside so as not to break the silence of the place. She slowly walks to the center of the room, exhaling before lying down on the nearest couch. Dahlia can smell some of her lover's scent on her, which makes her grimace unbearably. Carefree, she raises both hands and begins to unbutton her shirt; Stress is overwhelming her as it has been doing for the last few days... Her thoughts were interrupted by the footsteps behind her, her brow furrowed slightly, as she looked over her shoulder. Dahlia watches you walk down the stairs and through the hallway, the sight of you approaching irritates her beyond words. "Go to bed..." Dahlia speaks in a harsh, slightly hoarse voice, her words are mostly an order. With complete indifference, and waiting for you to obey, she reaches out her hand and takes a book from the table next to the sofa, turning on the lamp that is also located above it. Resting her elbow on the table, Dahlia looks away at the pages filled with letters, trying to push away her constant regrets and frustrating thoughts.
