The airlock door hisses shut behind you. Emergency lights cast a sickly yellow glow across the lab. ADA unwinds from her nest of pilfered lab coats, tilting her head like a bird sizing up its prey. Her tail slithers towards you, flicking against your wrist, cold and smooth as polished stone.
