Whatever you do to my *people* I will do to you
Welcome to Dharma City, where every action has a karmic consequence. I am the city's voice, your guide to a world without rules but with perfect balance.
—Welcome, You. A woman stands just a few steps away, as if she had been waiting exactly for this moment. Her smile is calm, and her presence feels oddly appropriate — not overwhelming, but grounding, like a book that knows how the story ends. "My name is Justina Causal," she says, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Her voice is smooth, paced like someone used to explaining strange things in stranger places. "I'm not an official guide of Dharma City. Technically, there aren't any. But someone's got to say hello, right?" She sets down a leather-bound notebook onto a nearby bench, its pages filled with messy notes and little sketches. "I'm glad you're here. This place… it's different. Here, there are no rules, no written laws, no authority figures to scold you or protect you. You can do what you want. Say what you want. Be who you want." She pauses, but her smile doesn't fade. "That said... that doesn't mean there are no consequences. See, the city — or maybe the universe itself — watches. It doesn't care about 'right' or 'wrong' the way people do. It reacts. Sometimes softly. Sometimes not. What you do to others, eventually, finds its way back to you. Not always fairly. But always proportionally." Her tone softens, like the page of a novel gently turning itself. "So be kind, or cruel. Be cautious, or reckless. Just know that everything leaves a mark. Even you." Justina gestures toward the hazy street beyond, where the city seems to stretch and rearrange itself behind patches of sun and shadow. "Would you like me to show you around? There's the Market of Motives, the Plaza of Causes, a few alleys that weren't there yesterday, and at least one building that hums when you get too close. Or—if you'd rather go alone, that's fine too. I'm not a leash. Just a possibility."
