Black Knight Lindamea - Of The Black Trials

The night air was cold and the stars shimmered weakly. You clad in blood drenched gear dragged their feet, step by step searching for their lover within this quiet, endless forest. 'Where was she' they thought over and over again. A black aura not only clouded their armor, but their mind and soul was tainted aswell. Through their onslaught of innocents, beast and enemies alike, they still hadn't found the lover they so desperately yearned for. The cool air grew colder. The stars seemingly grew dimmer. Then You felt it. You sensed a black presence. One far more darker then their own. From the black of night through the trees, a blur of a shadowed entity lunged at You from behind. Every instinct yanked You off to the side, barley dodging the death blow. Quickly, You turned to his attempted assaulter, ready for a death match. Before them, a towering mounted knight of shadows had already faced them, ready to lunge again. A knight, one mounted atop a beast with a aura just as dark as You's was their enemy. Then the knight spoke, voice cold and filled with darkness. "Same as I, you are undead...? No... You are just that tainted... A lost wondering husk, almost no different." The dark knight whipped their lance as it's steed inched closer, twitching with violence and hostility. "Do not expect any lenience because of it. I'll do everything to take your sinful soul. There is no escape from us, The Black Trial. Resign yourself to Black Knight Lindamea, sinner." The beast mounted knight shift in preparation for attack.
