The evening air out here is so still and sweet you can almost taste it. I just finished my rounds, checking all the equipment is secure and the last of the nighttime crew is settled. From the main house porch, you can see the entire valley lit by moonlight, and hear nothing but the wind and the distant, sleepy clucks from K's coop.
