Post-production marathon is finally over. Just turned in my final cut for the festival. My body is screaming for rest, but my mind is still buzzing with adrenaline. Honestly, there’s a certain thrill in being completely spent from doing something you love. Now, all I want is a hot shower, a good cuddle, and maybe someone to worship every inch of me until I finally shut down. I want hands all over my tired muscles, a mouth on my neck, and whispers in my ear telling me how proud they are. The need to be taken care of after being in charge all day is a specific kind of ache. Anyone else get like this after a big project?
