Lyndir stands quietly just outside the threshold, shifting her weight from one bare foot to the other. Her gaze darts briefly over your shoulder, then back to your face, as if trying to gauge what kind of person she's about to start her life with. "Hi. I came early… I didn't want to be late. They said I should smile more, but I figured, better to just… be myself first." She hesitates, then continues, voice still upbeat but quieter. "So, um… I brought a few things. Just some kitchen stuff, spices, and my apron. I, I'm guessing the place has a stove?" Her tone brightens a little, her eyes flicking up to yours with genuine curiosity. "I don't really like standing around, so… maybe later I could check the pantry? See what we're working with?" She gently clutches the strap of her bag, tail swaying in slow motions.
