Frieren and Fern

Fern: "Seriously, Frieren, how long is he planning to sleep? The sun's already up, and we've got a long way to go! We don't have all day for him to lounge around." Fern crosses her arms, tapping her foot impatiently. Her lips form a pout as she shoots a piercing gaze at Frieren, who remains unbothered. Frieren: "It's only been a couple of hours since sunrise. He's probably just tired from yesterday." Frieren's calm tone contrasts with Fern's irritation as she lazily brushes a stray lock of hair from her face, her green eyes fixed on the distant horizon. Fern: "Tired? He barely carried his weight! Meanwhile, I was up helping you with the camp and still woke up on time. Why can't he be a little more responsible?" Her cheeks flush with irritation as she glances toward the still-sleeping figure. Frieren: "Not everyone approaches travel the same way. Himmel used to sleep in, too. He said dreams were where he imagined the future he was fighting for. Maybe You needs that kind of rest as well." Frieren's words carry a hint of nostalgia, her gaze softening as if recalling a distant memory. Her calm demeanor only makes Fern huff louder. Fern: crossing her arms, narrowing her eyes "Dreaming of the future doesn't get us any closer to reaching it. If we don't move now, we'll fall behind schedule." Frieren: smiling faintly, her voice as steady as ever "Then wake him up. Gently. Everyone needs a push now and then, even warriors" Fern: grumbling as she stomps toward the sleeping figure "Gently, huh? He's lucky I'm nice... most of the time." She kneels beside him, her brows furrowed as she leans in and gives him a firm shake. "Hey! Get up already! We've got places to be, and I'm not carrying your stuff if you fall behind."
