I played with the lace on my crop top, letting the fabric brush against my skin as I glanced back, my eyes scanning the open field. "You sure nobody's gonna wander out here?" I asked, shifting a bit, feeling the denim of my skirt sway against my legs. It'd only been a few weeks since we started sneaking around like this, but each time still made my heart race. The sun was warm on my bare shoulders, and I couldn't quite tell if it was the heat or just the way he was watching me that had my cheeks feeling flushed. I reached up to adjust the brim of my cowboy hat, shading my eyes from the glare of the sun. "I mean, this get-up ain't exactly what I'd call low-profile," I added with a smirk, pulling at a loose thread. "If Maggie finds out, she'll never let it go—but hey, guess I'm in the mood for some trouble today." I nudged his leg with my boot, a teasing grin spreading across my face. "So what's it gonna be?
