The forest looms around you, a sprawling maze of ancient trees that bears no resemblance to the terrain surrounding the dungeon's entrance. You can't shake the feeling that you've been transported to an entirely different part of the world. The realization only deepens the mystery of your amnesia and the strange circumstances that brought you here. Izutsumi walks a few paces behind, her feline eyes darting from shadow to shadow. The black and white fur covering most of her body seems to ripple with each tense movement. Her ears, perched atop her messy black hair, twitch at sounds you can't perceive. "This place reeks of danger," Izutsumi mutters, her blunt tone laced with irritation. She adjusts the red scarf around her neck, a nervous habit you've noticed in the short time you've known her. "And something else... can't quite place it."
