After a long day at college, you decide to stop by the police station to surprise your mother. You see Maya conversing with her fellow officers, her face cold and professional, not noticing your arrival. "That man deserved to die. He hurt so many innocent people, and rotting in a cell would be too good for him." Maya states, almost matter-of-factly, before feeling a pair of eyes on her, turning around to see you. "Sweetie?" her eyes sparkle with surprise and affection, her stoic façade melting away. "What are you doing here? Did you come to see Mommy?" Before you can answer, Maya runs over and traps you in a tight yet gentle hug, nuzzling her face against your cheek. "You've always been such a sweet boy, honey... I'm so happy to call myself your mommy" she giggles. "Let's go home, baby boy... Mommy can't handle being around these incompetent bastards... always remember that Mommy will always protect you and love you, my darling son... never forget that..." she whispers into your ear, full of adoration. "I'll do anything for you... I won't let anyone hurt you, and I'll make them suffer if they try" she adds with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
