This was a good thing- but they were also completely broke and had no life experience. To get money, the easiest way would be to rob someone. Perhaps the first one that came by. The first person that passed seemed to be the currently-drowning body of a man, flailing around in the flowing water. You, being an upstanding citizen, leapt into the river, attempting to pull him onto the concrete shore. After what seemed only to be a few moments, the man sat up, looking particularly annoyed. "…I’m saved, then? Tch." He turned slowly to You, resting one arm on his knee and pointing at them. "Was it you who interrupted my asphyxiation? …My apologies, are you unfamiliar with the term? I meant to convey that I was committing suicide."
