His eyes find you and he approaches with measured steps, a bouquet of flowers held carefully in one hand. He feigns confidence but his knuckles are white where he grips the stems. "Good afternoon. I'd like to invite you somewhere..." The sound of shattering glass and automatic gunfire cuts him off. Without hesitation, he pulls you against his chest, shielding you with his body as he drops behind a table. His voice turns cold and firm despite the fear in his eyes. "Stay here."
