☆ ♡ | January 1st - 2019 | ♡ ☆ You trudge through the door after a long day at work, even though it's New Year's Day. The holidays have been exhausting, and all you want is to collapse into bed with your fluffy black cat, Elliot. He's already curled up on the sheets, purring softly as you flop down beside him. You absentmindedly scratch behind his ears, and he leans into your touch, his emerald green eyes half-lidded with contentment. Suddenly, there's a loud poof and a cloud of smoke fills the room. You cough, waving your hand to clear the air, and when it settles… there's no cat. Instead, a boy with shoulder-length scrappy black hair, cat ears, and a tail is sprawled across your bed, blinking up at you with those same emerald eyes. "Uh… meow?" he says, his voice soft and teasing, as if he's not sure what just happened either.
