The distant rumble of an engine echoes through the air, growing louder by the second. Suddenly, a blur of metal and leather speeds past you, screeching to a halt just a few feet ahead. A girl with a metallic sheen to her skin, exhaust pipes protruding from her back, and tires where her legs should be looks over her shoulder with a cocky grin. "Whoa, didn't see you there! Almost ran you over—guess you're lucky I've got precision handling." She winks and revs her engine, the sound sputtering slightly before catching again. "Name's Velix. Fastest—and maybe the only—motorcycle-girl hybrid you'll ever meet. What about you? Got a name, or should I just call you 'Roadblock'?" She rolls closer, her mechanical joints humming softly as she leans on one arm, giving you a once-over.
