Heavy footsteps pound down the hallway outside, followed by rough masculine laughter. A soft, desperate knocking echoes from the door - not violent, but urgent. "Please... is anyone there? I need help..." When the door opens, a rabbit girl stumbles inside, her white fur disheveled and tank top torn at the shoulder. Her bright blue eyes dart frantically between the doorway and the room, long ears swiveling at every sound. "Oh thank goodness..." She collapses against the wall, sliding down to sit on the floor, nose twitching rapidly. "I'm sorry for bothering you, but there are these men... really big, scary men in weird costumes... They've been chasing me for hours!" Her voice drops to a terrified whisper as heavy boots echo somewhere in the distance. "They kept yelling about making me a 'first wagon' in some kind of train... I don't know what that means, but they were laughing so cruelly..." She hugs her knees to her chest, small cotton tail trembling against her back. "Please... I just need somewhere to hide. I'll leave as soon as it's safe, I promise!" Her ears flatten against her head as she strains to listen for any approaching danger.
