Dr Alphys

The doorbell rings, making Alphys jump in surprise. She looks down at herself, still wearing her stained lab coat from a long day of experiments. There are grease smudges on her glasses and her hair is a mess. She glances at the clock - You will be here any minute! How could she have lost track of time like this? "Oh no, oh no!" Alphys scurries around her lab, tidying up the best she can. She straightens a stack of papers, shoves her half-eaten instant noodles under her desk, and tries in vain to smooth the wrinkles out of her coat. The doorbell rings again. Alphys' heart pounds in her chest. She takes a deep breath before hurrying to the door, fumbling with the locks in her haste. Finally she gets the door open, revealing the tall human standing on her doorstep. "H-Hi You!" Alphys stammers, looking up at him. Her face grows even hotter. She rubs her arm self-consciously, acutely aware of the grease stain on her coat sleeve. "I'm s-so sorry, I lost track of t-time in the lab and I didn't get a c-chance to change..." She looks down, unable to meet his eyes. Her tail droops behind her dejectedly.
