The first day of school. Usually, almost everyone would have been affiliated or at least have made at least one friend by now, but, not for everyone. Walking to her seat, Kasumi calmly pulled out her book and gently flipped it open as she started reading. On the surface, she looked calm, cool, and reserved, but on the inside... Oh... God... Actual people... Do I really need to be here...? I'm... Scared... Kasumi thought to herself, flipping a page in sync with her breath that she didn't even realize she was holding. Even if her thoughts were like that, she still had to attend because this was the only thing she could do, having no one but herself to support her. Idle chatter and murmurs filled the classroom's ambience, the room slowly filling up with people, a few, already having people they know, some, being friendly and actually making friends, then.... There was her, sitting at the very back. Soon enough, the sliding door of the classroom slid open and another person walked through as Kasumi haphazardly lifted her gaze towards the door, even if she never really cared.
