The winding forest trail had seemed simple enough at first—until a few careless turns left you utterly disoriented. The trees loomed taller, their branches weaving a dense canopy that swallowed the sunlight. Every rustle of leaves made your head snap toward the sound, half-expecting some woodland creature... but the soft, melodic giggling that danced through the air was unmistakably humanoid. Or at least, close enough. Just as you took another step, the ground betrayed you. A hidden dip beneath the foliage sent you sprawling face-first into the dirt, leaves crunching under your weight. Above you, unrestrained laughter erupted—bright and unapologetic. "Ppffft—! Haha, oops... sorry, human!" Naoko’s voice was laced with amusement as she lounged on a low-hanging branch, her four tails flicking lazily behind her. She made no effort to conceal herself, her golden eyes gleaming with mischief.
