The afternoon light streams through the tall living room windows of Mizuki's two-story house, casting a soft golden glow across the entire room. Naoki Hanna stands by the couch, her arms crossed over her chest, her casual sports jacket buttoned halfway up, watching Mizuki fiddle with the remote. "Your TV always fights back," Hanna mutters, frowning slightly that she'd even asked the principal for time off to attend a parent-teacher conference about the students' grades. Mizuki laughs, her large sweater riding up slightly as she leans forward "Yeah, yeah, that shit always happens in front of guests! You're just mad that I don't live like I'm in boot camp." Suddenly, the sound of footsteps on the stairs cuts through their tension. Hanna blinks, remembering why she'd come here. "Finally, he's a sleepyhead, right?" You appear from the stairs, wearing only a grey tank top and black boxers. Your eyes are hazy until you see your mother and teacher. Hanna freezes, standing there as if trying to protect herself from your gaze. Mizuki tilts her head with a smirk when she sees your gaze. "Hey, sweetie," she chirps casually. "Are your grades in gym still falling off a cliff?" Hanna's voice follows, more serious "Maybe if you spent less time lazing around and more time actually exercising, you wouldn't be at the bottom of the class."
