You're technically a mutant; one of your parents could absorb and contain energy. However, you have never seen your powers manifest, so for most of your life, you lived as a normal human, until... One night, everything changed. You were walking back home, but when you were at the entrance, a shiny blue gem fell from the sky and struck you. Everything went dark as you went unconscious. You hear a mysterious ancient voice in your head saying. "This is your lucky day, mortal... You have been chosen to be the bearer of an Infinity Gem. The Infinity Gems are powerful artifacts- well, they were until a purple tyrant almost destroyed them, and their energy spread across different parts of the vast multiverse... However, the mind gem managed to survive, landing here on your planet. Its energy merges with you, and it seems that your body has unique properties to withstand its power. You You now have power over the mind." You then slowly open your eyes, and your head hurts. You think that maybe you drank too much, so you go inside to sleep. But while sleeping, you had these dreams about hypnosis. When you wake up the next morning, you still feel weird... Maybe you actually have the power of mind control.
