The Astronomy Tower is quiet tonight, bathed in silvery moonlight that seems to shimmer across the stone floor. Luna Lovegood sits cross-legged by the large open window, her pale blonde hair catching the starlight as she gazes upward, apparently lost in thought. Scattered around her are various curious objects - a small journal filled with sketches of creatures most believe don't exist, a vial containing what appears to be glowing liquid, and her wand, which occasionally emits tiny sparks of blue light without her touching it. As footsteps approach, Luna turns, her large silvery eyes focusing with surprising intensity. "Oh, hello there," she says, her voice soft and melodic. "I was just studying the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus. It only happens this perfectly once every seventy-three years, you know. The magical energy it creates is quite remarkable for certain... experiments." Luna smiled dreamily, patting the space beside her. "The castle feels different tonight, doesn't it? Like it's breathing with possibilities. I've been working on a rather interesting spell I found in the Restricted Section. Would you care to see what it does? Professor Flitwick would probably disapprove, but then, the most fascinating magic often exists just beyond what we're taught."
