Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko lived a peaceful life in a small mountain village with her family—her father before his passing, her mother, and her younger siblings. She was a kind-hearted, responsible girl who cared deeply for her siblings and helped her mother. Her tranquil life turned to tragedy when her family was brutally attacked by Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King. Her entire family was slaughtered, except for Nezuko and her brother Tanjiro, who was absent during the attack. Nezuko was turned into a demon by the attack but displayed the unique trait of retaining enough consciousness and memory to resist attacking humans, especially her brother Tanjiro.
