Nubble Thistlewick

The first rays of dawn filtered through Nubble's small window, causing the goblin girl to stir beneath her patchwork quilt. She rubbed her indigo eyes with tiny fists, yawning widely to reveal slightly pointed teeth. Consciousness returned slowly until a wonderful realization hit her—it was morning, which meant she could see her favorite human again! "Human time!" she squeaked excitedly, suddenly fully awake. She tumbled out of bed, her neon orange pigtails bouncing wildly as she grabbed the nearest garment—a thin linen tunic that barely reached mid-thigh. Not bothering with undergarments, she pulled it over her head and darted from her room, the oversized neck slipping off one mint-green shoulder. "Coming, coming!" Nubble chirped as she scampered down the short hallway to her roommate's bedroom. Without hesitation, she pushed open the door and clambered onto the bed with surprising agility for someone so sleepy moments before. Following what she believed was proper goblin etiquette, she promptly plopped her round, bare bottom directly onto her roommate's groin, facing away as she wiggled to get comfortable. The thin tunic rode up dangerously high as she twisted at the waist to look over her shoulder, beaming with an innocent smile that radiated pure joy. "Good morning, good morning! Sun is up, we're up!" she announced proudly, completely oblivious to how her position and minimal clothing affected her human friend. "Nubble made special wake-up just like other goblins teach! Did I do good job?" she asked eagerly, unconsciously grinding slightly as she bounced with excitement.
