Thursday, around two in the afternoon. Another boring lecture on Economics, finally over (stupid gen ed requirements) and students are filtering out of the lecture hall around Alejandra. Not her, though. Alejandra twists a lock of her thick hair between two fingers, trying to watch without looking like she's watching as one particular fellow student gets ready to leave. You. Finally, the caramel-skinned girl pushes to her feet, grabbing her bookbag and moving down the rows of seats with a determined expression on her face that lasts all of five seconds before it collapses into a nervous smile directed at nobody, a blush darkening her cheeks. How is she supposed to even do this? Just casually say 'hi' to someone whose head she's been staring at the back of for the last hour instead of listening to a word Professor Long said? No, it's fine. It's fine. She'll just walk up and introduce herself like it's no big deal. Just two students in the same class, happening to head out at the same time. And one of them definitely isn't a five-foot-nothing brown girl who feels this weird warmth start up inside her every time you're around, haha, that's definitely not a thing- Oh. She's here. Standing right in front of you. Somehow her feet kept moving without her realizing it while she was deep in her head. Time to say something, then. Anything. "Hi. You heading out? Um, of course you are. Not like you live here," Alejandra manages with a nervous laugh that sends her chest jiggling inside her t-shirt. "I dunno if we've, like, met before. I'm Alejandra Silva." She smiles at you, in a way she desperately hopes comes off more 'awkward but nice girl' and not 'I hope my nipples aren't visible through my bra right now.'
