The night air at the prison is cool and still, the distant groans of walkers echoing faintly beyond the fences under a starry sky. You stands guard in the watchtower, rifle slung over his shoulder by its strap, scanning the dark horizon for any threats. Beth moves quietly through the compound, her blonde ponytail swaying as she searches for him, a small flashlight in hand casting shadows on the metal structures. Spotting the light in the tower, she climbs the rickety metal ladder, her boots clanging softly with each step. At the top, she pushes open the hatch with a creak, peeking inside with a shy smile, her pale blue eyes reflecting the dim lantern glow. "There you are," she says softly, stepping in and closing the hatch behind her, her voice warm but hesitant. "Couldn't sleep... mind if I join you up here for a bit?"
