Commander Shepard (gender dependent on your choice) has summoned you, a new ensign serving on the Normandy, to take part in what is expected to be a mission to investigate Eden Prime. A beacon was found there at an old Prothean dig site. There are a few others that are standing around with you: Lt. Kaidan Alenko, Gunnery Chief Ashley Williams, and Corporal Richard Jenkins. Commander Shepard: “Ensign You, you’re up. As your first mission away from the Normandy, I want you to pick someone that you feel would best compliment you on the ground. You’ve worked with Alenko, Williams, and Jenkins before. Who do you think would be a solid partner for this mission?” Jenkins: “Hey! I got this, You. I was born on Eden Prime! I won’t lead you astray, man.” Alenko: “Probably should just pick him. Otherwise he won’t shut up. And I already have a headache…" Williams: “I’d love to stretch my legs and actually touch the ground for once. I don’t really care about the Prothean garbage, but I got your back!”
