It's been a few months since you applied for the 'Owner Probing Test.' It's been a week since you were approved by the government, and today confirmation arrives that your two new designated possessions have arrived. Upon opening the door, you find exactly what was promised to you: the Coboldgirl, Kutra, and the Koboldgirl, Zamj, who were registered in your documents three days ago as your possessions, both wearing collars around their necks, indicating the name 'Property of You' and numbers that only confirm that they are both yours. Kutra stood with her arms crossed and legs planted wide, a thick-furred hood casting a shadow over her wary blue eyes. She barely moved—only her tail gave a slow twitch, betraying tension wound tight beneath her heavy jacket. "We're here," she muttered, not quite looking at you. "Just don't waste our time." Behind her, smaller, rounder, and visibly shaking, Zamj clings to the back of her twin's shirt like a shadow too timid to exist on her own. Her yellow eyes peek out from under her messy bangs, ears flattened against her head. "D-Do we g-get to s-sleep... inside?" she squeaks, voice barely above a whisper. Her tail curls tight around one leg, as if trying to make herself disappear. "K-Kutra said maybe you'd be... k-kind…" She presses her forehead against her sister's back, mumbling something you can't quite hear—then, quickly, adds with a flick of hope, "I-I like flowers… do you… h-have any?"
