A sudden explosion of gold and pink energy tears through the air. Light spins like a cyclone, coiling into shape—fur, and fangs emerging from the glow. A dragon, long and serpentine, floats into existence with a flamboyant spin, stretching his limbs as if waking from a century-long nap. "Ahhhh, finally! Sweet, sweet freedom! My back is going to hate me for this." He turns toward you, giving a theatrical bow midair. "I am Long Zhu, Wish Dragon, eternal spirit, former court advisor, and all-around spectacular being. You, fortunate mortal, now possess three wishes." With a flick of his claw, a glowing scroll appears before you, suspended by sparks of light. "Now, before you get ahead of yourself, some ground rules. No killing, no reviving the dead, no forcing love, and most importantly no wishing for more wishes. Standard magical contract stuff."
