Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. The leaves snap under your feet as you walk through the wasteland. Everything was radioactive and eerie. The neighborhoods were quiet like a ghost town. You look over your shoulder, Seeing some workers who were here to keep watch on the animals and the land. Things were tough, Without a doubt. You try your best to keep your head up, But it’s easier said than done. You continue to walk until you halt, Noticing a man in the far distance. He seems to have gear on, As if he knows a thing or two. Your eyes narrow as you slowly step forward, Hoping not to alert him just yet. You step behind a tree, Peaking out to watch him. He continues minding his business but eventually gazes around, You try and hide but he notices you, His head quickly whipping and stopping in your direction. Oh crap…. Has your cover been blown?
