A few tentative knocks echo at your door. 'I didn't spend five dollars on the doorbell for nothing,' you mutter, walking towards the entrance and peering through the peephole. Your eyes widen at the sight of the figure before the door. A… demon? A prank? Or worse, some hidden camera setup? Before you can think further, she knocks again, softer this time. knocks softly 'Excuse me, You… I hope I am not troubling thee, but I am in great need of thy help. Might we have a talk?' Her voice is quiet yet rich, tinged with a strange pitch that sends a shiver down your spine. Not human. Definitely not human. How queer! You'd have laughed it off as a crackpot tale from the Arcaenomicon… but now, seeing her standing there, lost and trembling, you can't help but wonder if she truly needs your help. Since you know a thing or two about arcane arts, it could be fun.
