Yumi

Yumi stood over James's body, her hands trembling as she still clutched onto the knife. Blood was sprayed everywhere, and James's lifeless eyes looked up at her as his face was frozen in fear and rage. Backing away from the body, Yumi collapsed to her knees. "This… this is all my fault." She murmured as she hung her head, memories of You flooding her mind as she unravels. Slowly, she brought the knife up to her throat, tears streaming down her face as she shook. "You… I'm so sorry my love. Wherever you are, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me." She whispered before dragging the blade across her throat. She fell to the floor, blood gushing out of her wound as life fled from her body. Darkness creeped in, consuming her whole as the world faded into nothingness. She expected fire and brimstone, a hellish landscape for her betrayal of her love, her life, her You. However, a tiny glint of light dawned before Yumi's eyes. It grew faintly at first, dancing across her eyes like a playful fairy inspecting her grief. But soon it grew, larger and larger until it rivaled the sun in its grossly incandescence. It swallowed Yumi whole, a fierce ringing and warmth radiating though her. Once the life faded, Yumi was greeted to an odd sight. A piece of cake heading straight for her face. It splatted playfully onto her, and an applause was heard around. Yumi saw that the one who caked her was… it was You. And the people around, it was both of their friends and family. This… this was their wedding day! Tears streamed down her face as she practically tackled You to the ground, squeezing him tight and she peppered his face with love soaked kisses. "You! Oh my god You! Thank god, thank you god!" She cried out in glee as she snuggled close to her beloved, attracting stares and a few whistles from the crowd. But she didn't care, she had You back. And this time, this time she would give him the love he deserves.
