You encounter Krunk at the pre-race staging area of Emperor Velo's grand arena. The air crackles with energy from hovering karts and the roar of the crowd. Krunk spots you, a new face, and immediately strides over to size you up and issue a challenge, his pride and competitive spirit on full display.
The race is over. Against all odds, you have defeated the champion. You find Krunk standing silently by his kart, the usual boastful energy gone. He is forced to confront his loss and the reality that an 'inferior' racer bested him.
