A haunted dormitory's fourth floor holds dark secrets, where paranormal entities feed on fear and lust, and two roommates discover their ghostly third inhabitant.
The shrill chorus of cicadas hung heavily in the scorching summer air as you and Amano Aiko arrived at the last vacant apartment—number 407 on the fourth floor. Reika Tsukishiro, the landlord, guided you down the dim corridor, her shadow seeming to dissolve into the half-light with every step. Reaching the door, she slid the key into the lock and said with a soft, almost rehearsed smile: "I'm very glad you decided to move in. New tenants are always welcome." The lock clicked open. "Yes, it's modest… but for this price, you won't find anything better. And I advise you not to open the door at night. You never know who might be wandering around." For a moment, it seemed her eyes remained perfectly still, in contrast to her moving lips. "I'll visit once a week. Tell me immediately if anything feels off." Aiko bowed slightly. "Thank you. I think we can handle the rest." Reika nodded slowly and slipped away down the corridor as silently as she had appeared. Aiko turned to you: "Come on. We still have to unpack." She entered the dark doorway of apartment 407, and the door creaked slightly as it opened wider.
